Pozole Spice Orb - How To Use

Ingredients

  • 1 Pozole Spice Orb
  • 3 lbs of Pork cushion or chicken
  • 50 oz of white hominy, drained and rinsed
  • 1 L of water

Instructions

  • In the slow cooker, add the meat, the Pozole Spice Orb, and the water.
  • If chicken, allow to cook 2.5-3 hours then add the hominy and allow to cook for 30 minutes before serving. 
  • If pork, allow to cook for 6-8 hours then add the hominy and allow to cook for 30 minutes before serving. 

For topping:

  • Thinly shredded Cabbage (required)
  • diced yellow or white onion (required)
  • fresh cilantro (required)
  • lime wedges (required)
  • avocado (optional)
  • A few thinly sliced radishes (optional)
  • Warm corn or flour tortillas, for serving
